Transit Trailer |
| In the hustle and bustle of New York City, everyone is always rushing to get somewhere. To catch a bus
Hail a taxi... Make it to work on time... And this is the everyday truth for 3 people: A wannabe teenage thug just trying to fit in, a struggling actor always running late, and a fed-up girlfriend who has been let down one too many times. Everyone has their own obstacles, but sometimes, when it is least expected, eye opening and revelational results can occur in transit. |

How
to Quit: A Truepictures Mockumentary |
|
|
While on the set of "The End," a couple of actors and the director got together to save a life. A little known fact about the film world is that chain-smoking almost comes with the industry. So much so that people who had decided to quit will restart smoking on the set to maintain relationships and brown nose all the right people. Well, that's just plain and simple annoying. So, we got rid of all of our sound equipment, all light equipment, took the camera and made an awful yet cute mockumentary that is reminiscent of backyard wrestling. The mini-short film has raised some eyebrows and caused laughter in offices around the country. To enjoy the mockumentary click the link below. Make sure you have a Quicktime Player otherwise you will not be able to enjoy the mini-short. |

NIGHTLIGHT THEATERAfter receiving a Jesus night-light as a gift, a friend and I wondered - what other characters have been honored with a night-light likeness? Soon, I had collected night-lights of the Virgin Mary, Barbie, the Statue of Liberty, and Dow's Scrubbing Bubble (to name a few). Then I gathered together improvisers (whom at one time or another had been involved with the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, The Daily show, and Late Night with Conan O'Brien) and had them improv as these characters. Miniature sets, a Panasonic DVX100, and simple stop-motion bring this, the first in a series of fully improvised scenes, to life. Directed by Jeff Greenspan. |

The Last Picture Show is Truepictures Productions' first music video. Monica Bhanote is the leading lady and is accompanied on screen by Stuart Daniels & Winston Benson of the band Daniels & Benson. The concept of the video is fairly simple: Girl has left boy due to a misunderstanding. Both are hurt, but now girl ends up with new boy, and misses the old one. When she enters the last picture show, girl is revisited by the memories of the past and you will be able to see the rest. |

Here it is, another Truepictures, Inc. production for you to enjoy! By clicking on the Revolution logo, you can view the ad we created for WGSU 89.3 FM in Geneseo, New York. The Revolution is home to some of the most knowledgable minds in the indie rock world today. The music we used for the project is the title track from "Hearts of Oak" by Ted Leo and the Pharmacists. The concept for the ad was the vision of Emily Isler, host of the very popular "The Liz and Emily Show" on the Revolution. Enjoy! |
